I've just finished painting this parrot. It's my first attempt at a bird and I really enjoyed doing this portrait. The feather patterns and the colours came out really nicely in pastel. It was painted on Sennelier soft pastel card with Faber Castell pastel pencils and is 24cm x 32 cm. It took 21 hours of work to complete.
