Lazy Day

I started this pastel painting of a leopard relaxing on the bough of a tree in December, but didn't end up finishing it until mid January. It was quite a challenging piece, and the Christmas holidays didn't help, although it was good to get together with all the family again.

I painted it with a mixture of soft pastel sticks and pencils on 47cm x 32cm Sennelier card.
